What is the focus of your present work?

Creating a bridge between China and Africa to promote win-win opportunities.

Can you briefly summarize your past achievements?

Promoting democracy during the military era in Nigeria
Training women to participate in the public processes in their communities in Africa
Raising awareness about violence against women in Nigeria and promoting the first domestic family bill that legislates against domestic violence in Nigeria, which was adopted in Lagos, Nigeria's commercial center.
Established a students association to consider and promote alternative ideas for achieving development beyond the neo-liberal consensus; association is based in China.

Re: motivation, I think Marian Wright Edelman says it best - that service is the rent we pay for being on earth. Re: aspiration, I aspire to live in a world where humans are supported by insitutions, values and attitudes that are life-affirming instead of soul destroying.
