What is the focus of your present work?

My wife and I own a 5-STAR luxury hotel, SPA, and Exceutive Retreat Center, just outside of Prague, which we use as a body-mind-spirit platform to help improve the world.

Can you briefly summarize your past achievements?

Five lives--so far:
1. 1960s--Successful recording artist--singer & songwriter.
2. 1970s: R & D Director for Exxon--My group created energy and environmental technologies which generated $100s millions in annual revenues. Numerous publications, patents.
3. 1980s & 90s: Co-Founder, CEO & Chairman of a public NASDAQ technology company in Silicon Valley, Catlytica, Inc., which had 2 business units: Sustainable Energy Generation & Pharmaceuticals. The latter grew in less than 5 years from 4 employees to 2,000 people, $500 million in revenues, $50 millon in earnings and a market value more than $1 billion.
4. 2000- :Co-Founder, President & CEO of Chateau Wally Films which shot and launched "What Matters Most," now distributed in more than 50 countries on cable TV.
5. 2002- :Co-founder, owner and Chairman of Chateau Mcely, a restored 17th century castle near Prague, which now serves as a 5-STAR luxury hotel, SPA, and executive retreat. It is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World; is the only Green 5-STAR hotel in all of Central and Eastern Europe; and in 2008 won the World Travel Awards as "The World's Leading Green Hotel."

2007- :Co-Authored a book entitled, "Freedom From Mid-East Oil," which provides a climate-friendly plan to get the U.S. off oil imports by 2015.

As a Fellow, we know you have a commitment to making the world a better place. How would you describe your motivation and aspirations in this context?

I am interested in merging the nexus of body, mind and spirit with that of business and technology to address critical global societal issues, in particular climate change and energy security. I also occassionaly donate my entertainment skills to help and support children at risk.
